How to paint furniture tip
If you have a piece of furniture that you are tired of, why not give it a beautiful new prime of colour? You will need a couple of things before you get started such as, knotting solution, sandpaper, water based primer, water based paint for wood, and of course a few brushes. The whole process of re-painting an old wooden chair shouldn’t take longer than a single weekend to complete. Let’s look at a great tip you should do when painting your item.
To start, remove all knobs and trim from your piece of furniture. If your furniture has been painted in the past, you should want to give it a light sanding with a rougher piece of sand paper to get the older paint off. After that, look for knots in the wood and put the solution on. This will prevent the knots from coming out in the future. I must make a note here, it should be important to use a proper paint respirator or paint mask to help deter health problems. Once you have finished, go over the whole piece again with a fine piece of sandpaper to help smooth things out. If the wood is not smooth before you paint, if won’t be even after either.
