Toyota is the only car manufacturer in my opinion to have produced 2 attractive hybrid vehicles, the Prius and Auris Hybird. Toyota invested heavily in two areas the first being hybrid in the 1990s and secondly smaller sized hatchbacks. Now that the hatchbacks such as the Aygo, Yaris, Auris and Verso have been available for a few years they are now on the second hand car market. Used Toyota vehicles are normally competitively priced compared to other car manufacturers. The Auris Hybrid will be released later this year to expand its hybrid range and increasing the choice that the customer has.
